Gledis moves for spirituality

Keeping my body functioning optimally is my biggest inspiration.

A friend introduced Gledis to slacklining two years ago. It took her three months until she was able to walk on the line. “I loved it from the moment I stepped on it,” she says, “because of how challenging it was.”

“I hold myself accountable each time I step on the line. It’s like the best meditation, because I truly need to empty my mind, and just breathe in order to keep focused and steady. I love the challenge of it, embracing my fears, and overcoming them.”

Gledis loves keeping active.

“There are very few days in my week where I do not move my body in some way. Different activities invoke a different feeling. Running helps me with my anxiety. Yoga keeps me centered and focused on my spiritual journey. Slacklining keeps my mind steady, not wavering with emotions. Everything plays its part in a different way.”
