Victor and Francia move together

Their love has left an indelible mark on my life...
...exercising together is a sign of their commitment to each other
— Patrick, speaking about his grandparents Victor + Francia

Victor and Francia believed in moving through life together, hand in hand.

Victor was active well into his 80s, starting each day with squats and crunches as part of his active aging routine. Francia began her wellness journey later but with remarkable determination. At 75, she started working with a personal trainer, lost more than 30 pounds, and transformed her health. “She hoped to be an inspiration to anyone who thought it was too late to get healthy,” their grandson shared.

For them, movement was never about competition. It was about living well, taking care of their health, and caring for one another. Their evening walks were more than exercise; they were moments of connection and gratitude. Even playing cards together became part of their shared rhythm of movement and joy.

Their story is a true example of movement for longevity and love. Victor and Francia proved that couples who move together grow stronger together, both in body and spirit.

They still inspire me,” their grandson says. “The joy of exercising with your partner is powerful. Their love reminds me every day that heart health and togetherness are worth moving for.”

Through their real love story, Victor and Francia remind us that movement is not just about fitness. It is about connection, wellness, and choosing a healthy lifestyle at every age.

At time of this post, both Victor and Francia have passed away, and we are honoured to share their story, a true testament to love, health, and the timeless bond of family.
